• Confidentiality is Key: What’s shared here stays here. Do not share names, diagnoses, or other identifying information about members or their families outside of this group.
• Respect Diversity: Every family’s journey is unique. Be kind and respectful of all experiences, perspectives, and cultural differences.
• No Criticism or Judgment: We face enough challenges elsewhere—let’s make this a place of kindness, understanding, and support.
• Keep It Supportive: Share advice, ask questions, and celebrate victories in a positive and constructive way.
• No Harmful Content: Avoid sharing anything that could be triggering or offensive, including graphic details, hate speech, or divisive topics.
• Helpful Information is Welcome: Feel free to share resources, articles, and tools that may benefit other members.
• No Advertising Competing Services: This group is dedicated to supporting families through 1in6 Support. Advertising or promoting services, events, or organizations that directly compete with 1in6 Support is not allowed.
• Introduce Yourself: When you join, we encourage you to introduce yourself and share a little about your journey (only what you’re comfortable with).
• Spread the Word: Feel free to share this group, our face-to-face support groups, and our other services with anyone who may benefit from them.
• Moderation: Admins and moderators are here to maintain the integrity of the group. Posts or comments that violate these rules may be removed. Persistent violations may result in removal from the group.
