Second Annual Gala
Last year’s completely sold out 1in6 Support Gala was truly unforgettable. Our community came together for an evening filled with connection, celebration, and purpose. The energy in the room, the shared commitment to inclusion, and the generosity shown made it one of the most impactful nights in our organization’s history.
We’re ready to build on that momentum at this year’s Gala. Early Bird tickets are available through Monday, August 31 for $175, and beginning Tuesday, September 1, tickets will be $200. We encourage you to secure your spot and join us for another inspiring evening at the Montclair Art Museum.
We’re also excited to offer four sponsorship levels this year, each designed to give partners meaningful visibility while directly supporting our mission. 2026 Abilities Parade & Inclusion Race in Midland!
The 2026 Abilities Parade & Inclusion Race returns to Midland on September 19, bringing together families, neighbors, and community partners for a day dedicated to disability pride, belonging, and community celebration. This free annual event invites everyone to join the Abilities Parade through Grove Park, honoring individuals with disabilities and the communities that uplift and support them.
While Mile for a Mission registration is now closed, we are so grateful for the wonderful response and enthusiasm we received from race participants. Even without formal registration, attendees are welcome to cheer on the walkers, runners, and rollers as they complete their laps in support of 1in6 Support’s mission.
This year’s event is held in loving memory of Aiden Glaza, whose light and love from his family continues to inspire our work.

In‑Person Support Groups
In‑person Support Groups return Friday, September 3. These gatherings remain at the core of our mission to support caregivers of children with disabilities, offering a safe and compassionate space to share, learn, and connect.

If you’re looking for connection between support meetings or want to engage with others at any time, our online community forum is open and growing. Registration is simple, and the forum provides a supportive place to ask questions, share resources, and connect with others who understand the journey.
Train The Trainer
We are proud to announce the successful completion of our first Free Train the Trainer program and to congratulate our 12 new graduates! This milestone represents a growing network of trained advocates and facilitators who will help expand support across communities.
